Doggy Daycare

Dog day care: Whether you have a demanding work schedule, need some time to yourself or just want to give your dog a chance to socialize with other furry friends, those in search of quality and affordable dog day care in Great Falls, MT will find it at Happy Tails Lodge.

Dogs are naturally pack play animals.  You may have ‘a big backyard’ at home, but there’s no organized play or play group.  Our guests are sorted by size and temperament, always supervised, and have someone to play with, whether other dogs, or humans if they don’t play will with others.  We all want well-mannered pets, but how can they listen when they can’t get their energy out?  Let them come and play so at the end of the day they’re as tired as you are.    Having company over?  Get their energy out so they can be socially acceptable!  Half day or whole, occasionally or every day, Day Care encourages better behavior.

Tip #4 for keeping your pup safe and calm during the 4th: Stay calm for your dog’s sake.
Your dog freaking out about the sound of fireworks may make you feel unsettled, but it’s important to keep your emotions in check. Your pet picks up on your emotional cues, so maintaining a “chill” demeanor is your best bet if you want him to follow suit.

Tip #3 for keeping your pup safe during the 4th: Take your dog for a nice, long walk before the festivities start.
A tired dog is a more relaxed dog - The more exercise your four-legged pal gets before the party starts, the more sleepy he’ll be, meaning he’d rather lie down in a comfy spot in the living room than pace anxiously by the door. Walk your pup in an area he’s used to and seems to enjoy.
